The Hidalgo-Willacy Counties of Texas have released a new EDI report based on data based from over 7,000 kindergarten children.
The report provides a summary of the EDI results for the community as a whole, as well as for local neighbourhoods, and also features tips for interpreting tables and maps for those unfamiliar with the EDI.
The report was created by the Easter Seals RGV Texas Home Visiting Program, as part of the larger national initiative called Transforming Early Childhood Community Systems (TECCS). TECCS is a partnership with the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families, and Communities and the United Way Worldwide.
The release of the report was featured in The Monitor.
